I am looking for an app that will make new app windows display in an empty area of my screen, instead of covering up existing open apps.
For example, I have my browser open, and if I open a new Finder window, it will most likely open on top of Chrome. This is especially annoying when I have an entire 2nd monitor completely empty of apps.
There are some great programs for moving windows around using keyboard shortcuts. I am using Spectacle at the moment. It would be awesome if new app windows used the real estate on my display before overlapping each other. Then I wouldn't need to manually reposition as often.
Has anyone heard of such a thing? Or if not would you be interested if I tried building such an app?
