Logix Pro x and 64 Bit audio?

I'm selling my 2008 2.8 ghz iMac and a potential buyer has asked me if I think it would run Logix Pro X, which needs 64 bit audio.
We're just communicationg via emails and he comes across as a newbie to Macs but even myself I'm not "savy" enough to give him an answer. My Mac has 4gb of ram, lots of disk space and he can upgrade to the OS of his choice but 64 bits, I don't know..Would it run Logix Pro x?
