I am locked out of my macbook . There should be no password on it . This is a 1181 macbook and I recently sold it on eBay . I cleared everything off it before I shipped it . When the buyer received it there was a password on it . I now have it back and can't get into it .

Before selling it, did you do a clean install to allow the new buyer to set it up as them or did you just clear the data and leave your accounts on there? Either way, you have it cleared of your data, so who knows what the buyer may or may not have done, just reformat the macbook back to its original software and go.
