Locked out of unactivated iPhone 6

My new iPhone 6 locked me out before it had finished being activated. Now I am locked out of it, and I cannot reset it due to the current iPhone 5 still being active. Anyone have any thoughts on how to unlock the phone? By unlock I just mean it isnt responding to the security code I entered.

Take it back to the store where you bought it and have them help you with it. Bring the iPhone 5 with you as well, it will probably take them only a few minutes to sort that out for you.

This was an interesting problem that even an Apple Engineer had never encountered. The solution ended up having to be a hard restore by pressing the home button, then plugging it into the computer and following the prompts.
