I am sure that there is a thread with this discussion, but I can't find it - so sorry for asking something everyone is tired of hearing about it.
just bought my daughter a new macbook for college, we also got Windows XP with Service Pack 2 to load on it. We are having trouble loading it onto the machine
-went to bootcamp assistant
- the computer restarts in windows mode
- starts set up process
- we follow the instructions for set-up
- it tells us that it will restart and continue the set up process, the computer restarts, and either gives us a disc error, a black screen with a blinking cursor, or starts the script over again.
We called Apple, they gave us the instructions to get it out of the black screen, and said call microsoft. Called microsoft, was told to call apple.
HELP Please!!!!
thanks
