I have lion on my mbp and for some reason it will not sleep when I close the lid. I DID find the problem by typing "pmset -g assertions" in terminal and it spat out a few things that I found curious. it spat out:
Assertion status system-wide:
ChargeInhibit 0
PreventUserIdleDisplaySleep 0
PreventUserIdleSystemSleep 0
NoRealPowerSources_debug 0
CPUBoundAssertion 0
EnableIdleSleep 1
PreventSystemSleep 1
DisableInflow 0
DisableLowPowerBatteryWarnings 0
ExternalMedia 0
Listed by owning process:
pid 3404: [0x0000012c00000d4c] PreventSystemSleep named: "com.apple.InternetSharing"
So I turned off internet sharing and it works fine, the laptop is able to sleep when the lid is closed but this is a hassle since I have to turn on and off internet sharing every time it sleeps. Is there a workaround for this? In Snow Leopard it was perfect no problems whatsoever.
