So my wife asked me to back up her mini SD card onto my computer because she ran out of room. I tried hooking it up via USB to both my MacBook and my Mac Pro and both of them gave me this error message:

Anybody know why this may be happening? Is Lion temperamental with Android phones? I find it odd because when she first got the phone back in January I was able to connect it to my Mac (then running Snow Leopard) just fine, and I could move files to and from the phone itself, no sweat.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance, cheers.

Not seen that before - is the phone in USB disk mode?

Have you tried removing the card, putting it in a card reader, then connecting it?

This happened to my HTC as well. with all computers, not just lion. it was a pain in the neck. I think i had to install a program from HTC themselves

Ah, I'm not sure if it was in disk mode. I'll have to check and try again later today. I need to get a card reader first, when I do that'll be option #2.

Hm, I'll look into that as well.

Thanks fellas.

I have the same problem. Phone is in disk mode but doesn't ask what to do when I connect even though I have that box checked. I looked through System Preferences to see if there were any new settings to input but haven't found any thing yet.
