does anyone know why limewire will not work on my dual g4 1.25 tower? the problem is, it won't connect to anything. i have it installed and running, i have an internet connection, i have it set to "connect automatically", and i have even selected "connect" from the menu numerous times. would it have something to do with my college's network? any help would be much appreciated! thanks.

I believe that most college are closing the port that applications like limewire and kazza uses.

rman is correct, it could very well be your college's network. You should ask your college network administrator if they're blocking the P2P ports.

Doesn't Limewire let you change the Port you use?
