I have a client that I replaced the keyboard on their Macbook because the second row keys quit working. The new keyboard worked fine for about a month. Now the second row keys quit working again. I am thinking maybe something is going bad on the motherboard. Does anyone have any thoughts?

keyboard keys random quit working

I am posting a reply to my previous post. I disconnected the keyboard ribbon cables and let the macbook sit for 5 minutes, turned it on and the middle row keys started working.
Does anyone know why the middle row keys would quit working but start working again after I disconnect and reconnect keyboard backlight ribbon cables.

one of the pins/wires on the connector is dirty/damaged? If not, the logic board would be to blame.
