Hello all.
I recently updated my MacBook Pro (Early 2011) to Yosemite 10.10.5 and just noticed that Java is missing from System Preferences. It used to be next to Flash Player.
Here is the sequence of events:
Oct 22, 2015 -
#1 Updated to Java 8 update 65 via System Preferences > Java Icon > Java Control Panel. (This went OK and is recorded in System Information > Installations.)
#2 Upgraded to Yosemite 10.10.3,
then applied Software Updated 10.10.5
and Security Update 2015-004 1.0
I don’t know exactly when the Java icon (that opens Java Control Panel) went missing from System Preferences. Does anyone know what the problem is and what I should do. Thanks in advance.
