iTunes problem

I currently have iTunes 7.1.1. The problem is that the program will frequently not launch. I have gone ahead and deleted the file "com.apple.iTunes.plist" from preferences. iTunes works for a few days then goes bad. Then I have to again delete the same file. I need a permanent solution to this iTunes problem. Anyone have any ideas?

Hm very weird. Try backing up your library, then deleting it, then delete the plist. Add 1 album and use it for a week. Then add another. You may have some bad track running amuck. (?)
