I've lost the 'song count' at the bottom of my iTunes 12.0.1 window. How can I get it back?

I don't believe it's there any more.

That said, I doubt there is a program I dislike more than iTunes. The last time I upgraded, I lost about 1200 songs, and virtually all album art. The album art it DID save was scrambled among the albums. For example, the Beatles White Album now shows the cover of Captain Beefheart's "Trout Mask Replica". I also lost all favorites as well as all of my playlists. With every successive "upgrade" it becomes more cumbersome and buggy. I will NEVER purchase music from them. I refuse to pay a premium so that I can actually OWN it. Whenever possible, I use the Amazon music player. iTunes is an abomination.

Oh, it's there. I got this answer from another forum:

"In the top menu. *Click on View and click on Show Status Bar".

Thanks for the rant, though :)
