yes it is, and has been for several years. correct me if im wrong but apple invented itunes.

Well, sort of. Apple made iTunes into iTunes, but the original program it was developed from was called SoundJam MP and was made by a company called Cassidy & Greene. Apple purchased SoundJam MP (and Cassidy & Greene) and turned it into iTunes.
