I listened to my iPod the whole train ride to work, then on the walk to my office. It was working fine. As i entered my office i plugged in the charger and walk away to my computer. As I checked back a couple hours later, the screen was blank, and that was not normal, it usual has teh battery symbol and says charged. I re-plugged in the charger and this weird battery symbol with a lightning bolt showed up. and Now ti wont charge in the outlet or when its plugged into my computer. Also I can't turn it on. I tried to reset it, but this did not work.

Sorry for the long post, but I was wondering if this has happened to anyone, and what you did about it. I guess I am just going to have to buy a new one, which sucks. I think I had it for a little more than a year,so no warranty is left.
Thanks for any help.

Yes, I tried that already, pushing in the Menu and middle button, and at first that Battery icon with the lightning bolt would flash but now there is nothing happening. I have it connected to USB in my computer right now and tried to reset it but nothing happened.

I also saw that it may take up to a half hour for my computer to read the ipod when the battery has gone but its been in for over an hour now.
