ipod shuffle listen while charging?

is there a way to charge the newest ipod shuffle (4g) and listen at the same time? i just bought one for my mother and im just curious if she could charge it in the car and listen simultaneously. if you could point me in the direction of any necessary accessories, I would appreciate it. Thanks

I'm not sure you can do it other than perhaps using a dual cable connector; one for the charging cord, the other for earphones. As you know, the same jack on the Shuffle is used for both.

You can do it with a Nano since the charging cable connection and earphones are separate.

is there a dual link cable like that? anyone know where to find it?
