I am new with my Mac Pro Quad, I'm use to my window environment. I take pictures with my digital camera and load them on my computer with no problems. But when I try and e-mail the pictures they do not go as a attachment the entire pictures goes along with the e-mail. I know it's probably something real easy to fix, but I can't figure it out.

before I send them they are listed as a jpg file, if that explains things. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

It is the same thing. When you attach a picture to an email the picture is displayed. It also does this if you attach a document.

Maybe I didn't explain this well. In a PC when you send an e-mail with an attachment, you have the message and then you open the attachment.

With my mac, when I send the e-mail the attachment is already open, and it is extremely large.

I have this problem too - compounded by the fact that several (windows) recipients cannot see the pictures sent this way in Mail. My workround is either to Zip the files (which then goes 'as a file) or to use Hotmail. Crazy that you cannot send pictures as an attached file in Mail. May be another way would be to change the .jpg to something else and get the recipient to change it back???
