iPhoto library not available in Front Row Photos

Okay, I have just finished transferring all my photos to iPhoto and they are visible in the iPhoto application. However, when I try to view them in the Front Row it says that "there are non photos in your iphoto library" and that I should import them to the library. I just did that! Why isn't it working?

Yes, I put them in this location on the hard drive /users/myusername/pictures and then I dragged the folders of pictures into iPhoto so they got imported there. I can view them in iPhoto but not in Front Row. ???

I had the very same problem when I bought my MBP about 3 months back. imported all my photos (10gb) from my external. All visable in iphoto but not frontrow. What i had to do was import each set of pictures then try em in frontrow. After some time I found that because i was just importing the folders from my external these contained a "thumbs" file only readable on windows. This was messing it up for me. only make sure your importing photos and videos only. try importing a folder at a time then try frontrow. you will find the problem file eventually.
