You might laugh at that but I can remember the first cell I received from Voice Stream (now known as T-Mobile) was about that size. Folks complain about having to use two hands with the new iPhone 6+ but the same applies to those tiny phones. (Think about that.)

There's buttons I can't reach on the 6+ but it hard a complaint, we have TWO hands for a reason and that reason is the 6+

I suspect that Apple will keep the 4" form factor going for one more generation by putting the guts of a 5s into a 6-style shell next year...
