iPhone 16e - size of battery image top right of screen

Hi. Is it possible to increase the size of the battery image in the top right corner of the screeen? I have it set to show the percentage level but I find it difficult to read without my spectacles on. I've increased the size of the fonts on the screen but it doesn't affect the battery image number. Thank you. Jeff

I don't believe you can modify the size of specific things. If you're increased the overall size to be as large as is supported, that's what you have.

Getting old and all that, eh?

Thats sort of like increasing the font of the Menu Bar on macOS hard to do. The only thing I can suggest is increasing the contrast to make it more readable at the same size. Or in my case I had my cataracts removed.

You could try turning on "Zoom" in the Accessibility panel of Settings. It takes a bit of mucking about, but you can adjust the size and position of the "lens" so it just magnifies the battery and Wi-Fi indicators. Hide the controller, and you have a slightly-oversized little window with a legible battery charge indication. It overlaps the top-right app icon, but doesn't prevent using it.
(Three-finger double-tap brings it back when you restart the phone, but you have to relocate it to the desired corner.)
