iPhone 15 Pro Max - battery issues?

Hello All -

Always a pleasure to pick the hive mind and say hello to a few very friendly regulars.

I have the above, new last week, and it's runnng the latest IOS with updates in. Are there any known battery issues? I've never had a drop from 89% to 66% like I did last night and the battery seems to burn down faster during the day.

I have the 15Pro - smaller battery than the 15PM. I had fast battery drop the first couple of days which I attribute to indexing and downloading all the photos, apps and their data. My phone has settled down and yesterday ( I got my new phone on Friday, Sept 22) the battery lasted all day, 14 hours, with 30% still left. I can live with that.

Thanks, Lisa. My phone has been downloading songs and pictures as well. Never thought of that.
