I'm trying to resize my Windows partition to something in the area of 10GBs smaller than what it is currently. I read on iPartitions website, that I can resize any partition on the computer without destroying the contents of that partition. I booted up with iPartition 3.2.0, and I chose the new sizes of everything that I wanted, but the warning log said that the shrink process would be destructively done on the Windows partition. Now that seems opposite to what their site claims the software can do. What are my options here?

If the partition in question has EVER been close to full it will have data spread all over the partition making shrinking more dificult. maybe defrag it first to move all free space to the end.
This is just conjecture mind you.
