iPad unlocks without code

15" MBP macOS Big Sur....iPad Air 9th Gen, iPadOS 18....iPhone 8+...14" MBP macOS Sequoia 15
I have an iPad with IOS 9.3 that unlocks if you swipe up, open either the camera or the timer/alarm function. Once you close the function the screen is now unlocked. Any thoughts?

Since iOS 9.3 is a beta release.... Did it do the same thing with iOS 9.2.1 the latest public release?

Since it's in beta, have you reported that bug to Apple? That's what Beta testing is for.
