iPad and iPhone have same problem

What version of iOS are those devices running? Which app are you using for Gmail? The Mail app that comes with iOS or a 3rd party app?

I get to Gmail by opening Google chrome and click on [ Gmail icon and I am into a function email mode. However this works only my desk top mac.

I have an {mail" icon on my dock and that also receives my emails.

I have iOS 8.3.1 installed.

Is my wifi not working?

Can you clarify what this means? This is a little confusing.

If you're WiFi wasn't working, you wouldn't be able to access anything online (unless of course you're on a data network of sorts). Plus, given that you get an error message about incorrect credentials, this isn't the issue. What if you try to login in through Safari.

By the way, as an aside, you're running 8.1.3, not 8.3.1.
