Updated both iPhone 8 and iPad Air to iOS14. On iPad I can select DuckDuckGo as default browser, but on iPhone that option line is missing. Have restarted phone, and it's still missing. Photo stream also does not sync between iPhone and MBA, although it syncs with iPad. Problem seems to stem from iPhone, but I'm out of ideas.

The latest version that I just downloaded, is 7.53. Your screenshot says 7.49.4. Try updating it, or uninstall and download it again from the store.

Thank you Jake! I didn't catch that. Apparently my automatic updates didn't.

Now I just have to get Photo Stream to work again.

Log out, then back into, iCloud on both devices. That may reset the connection. Maybe Ian will come along with something better to suggest.

Well, that just deleted my entire Photo Stream.

That should not have happened. Are the images in Photos on the iPhone? On the Mac? As I understand it PhotoStream is just the syncing process to get images transferred quickly. Is it turned on? Settings/Photos/Upload to my Photo Stream is the slider.

Thankfully, phone and iPad still have Photo Stream. Even after shutting down and restarting, my my Photo Stream is gone, even though it's enabled on MBA. Not blaming you - every **** time I mess with iCloud something goes very wrong, which is why I never use iCloud Drive

Sorry; I'm coming to this late. Been working .

Appleinsider reported that with iOS 14, your selected default search engine and browser would revert to Safari & Google if you reset your device or shut it down and rebooted. This affects iPhone more than iPad but can be both. I found this early this am and I'm blowed if I can locate the source again. But will persevere. That might explain your first problem. You have to go back and choose your default browser and search engine manually.

"My Photo Stream" needs to be selected on all devices. I'm sure you know this. But here goes:

On your iPhone and iPad, it's Settings > Photos > iCloud Photos OFF and "My Photo Stream" ON.

On your MBA, it's Photos > Photos Preferences > iCloud > "My Photo Stream" ON

As soon as I locate the Appleinsider article, I'll post it.
