**iOS 8.0.1 Warning**

My fiance just downloaded 8.0.1 to her 5s and lost texting. Any fix? Will 8.0.2 repair the damage?

It should. I had two friends - one with an iPhone 5s that could not text or play videos in Safari and the update fixed both issues. The other had an iPad that would not play facebook videos. The update fixed that too.

How did she "just" download 8.01? It was rescinded by Apple several days ago after it became known that it was causing problems. She must have downloaded it before Apple pulled it. Anyway, as Lisa stated, 8.02 will repair the damage.

i have an iPhone 5 and installed 8.0.2, the audio while playing videos just disappears at times. rebooting the phone does resolve the issue but does anyone have any suggestions.
