Internet HELP!!! Please and Thank-you

I use FiOS internet with its router and go to the speedtest pages to confirm that the download and upload speeds are fast 18000 kb/s and 4000 kb/s. BUT when I use the internet, the pages take a very long time to come up. What could the problem be? Thank-you.

clear history and cache for a start, see how you go. Its not your internet connection, or the speed tests would not show those speeds, or perhaps you could try an independent speed test, http://www.speedtest.net/
