Hello,

I need a little help here. I just got a Macbook (which I love) but I need to install IE in order to run a web based program for work. I've already tired to run it on Firefox, Opera, etc. But none have worked, so my last solution is IE, unforunetly. :radioacti Anyone have any tips, I know they stopped making it for mac's a few years ago. I would apprieciate any tips.

Thanks!

You'll need to run windows to use IE on a Mac. The last version of IE for Mac probably won't work with whatever you are trying to do, and not even sure where you'll be able to get a copy if it did.

Thanks guys I apprieciate it! I really don't want to run IE, but theres nothing else I can really do. Is there any major problems running Windows on my Macbook? (sorry if this question has been beat to death before) Does it slow it down drastically? Thanks!

Parallels will run windows on your MacBook, for the occasional time that it sounds like you need it.

For the few times he's going to be using it, Boot Camp doesnt make practical sense. Parallels is better for him.

Brown Study, thanks for the link. I downloaded IE and it works, kind of. But I think I can get by with it. If that doesn work I'll try parallels or bootcamp to run windows, thou I'd really not like to. Thanks for the tips everyone.

If IE is the ONLY thing from Windows that you need, Parallels, etc is overkill.
Try DarWine or CrossOver...install only what you need.
