Installed (2) new 512MB SDRAM, pleased so far...

I had (2) Samsung 144pin SDRAM, PC133 modules in my G4 Powerbook, but wanted more RAM...

I purchased two new modules from tp://www.memoryx.et/m8631ga.html (outdated link removed)

They work fine, and show up as 1024 on "About this Mac"
Am I really running 1024, or does it max out at 1GB?

Really helped Medal of Honor out, and I will have to see how it stands later on. As of now school is killing me, so no time for games.

P.S. If you want the original (2) Samsung 144pin SDRAM, PC133 modules, PM me. They were used since 7/27/02.

when they say 1GB is max they really do mean 1024 mb since its not really possible to just get 1gb

1024 MegaBytes = 1 GigaByte. That is how most computer hardware works, everything is a power of 2.
Only hard drive manufacturers don't understand this fundamental rule of computer science (in HDs they use 1000MB to 1 GB)
