Interesting. I thought the iMac Pro had pretty much been relegated to history.

The old iMac Pro is dead and buried. The new iMacs which we will see next year will have the "Pro" designation as they will be equipped with the M1X or similar just like the new MacBook Pro 14" and 16" models.

That "Pro" nomer will allow Apple to assign a "Pro" price to the new large screen iMacs. :) Save your pennies Sly! 🤠

I don't even want to know how many sombreros I would have to trade in for one of those monsters.

In all seriousness, if I were in the market for a new Mac, it would be a tough choice. All of the varying lines have at least one configuration that looks interesting/promising. For the first time since its inception, I'd even consider a Mini.

Bingo. No one should expect to see a non-Pro version of the 27 incher.
