My iMac keyboard is stuck on Caps Lock and I am unable to use it. Tried switching off and on.

The green light goes on and off when I select.

Any suggestions please?

Do you have any other USB Keyboard you can try? Even a PC keyboard.

Is that the only keyboard hooked to the iMac? When the Caps Lock Light goes out it should not be in Caps.

What version of Mac OS is installed on that iMac? Reason I ask is go to accessibility and keyboard and look for the on screen keyboard. disconnect the Apple one and to the on screen and see if it's still stuck in caps. In Mojave it's under keyboard. Not sure on other versions.

Thank you for your reply.
I tried the old favourite reboot and that resolved it. Strange one.

+1 !!! Always the first thing to try when there's a problem.
