Kernel panics are usually hardware related. However, try getting rid of all things Symantec. You don't need any antivirus for a Mac because there are no viruses for them to detect and no known vectors for a virus to get into your Mac. A/V software just wastes your time, money and computer, and can cause problems.

You might do better to get Etrecheck and run it to see what it reports. It won't look at hardware for faults, but will look for software conflicts that can lead to issues.

If you feel you MUST have some A/V type software, get DetectX Swift and run it occasionally. But you don't need anything resident all the time because there are no known viruses.

First suggestion ~ remove Symantec. It is first listed in problem area.
