First: A BIG congratulations on getting things running again!
Second: How the heck can you say something as disrespectful as "Well since it seemed no one could really help me…I fixed my iMac myself…"??
I'm sure you're very proud & excited that you got your iMac running again! But you certainly got some help, inspiration, confidence, tips. hints, etc. from Mac-Forums members during the discussion in this thread!

I'm not sure that qualifies as "…no one could really help me…"

Nick my apologies. I did not see the second page of responses. I could only see one page, therefore the last response I could see was this

Thanks Nick for your help. I'll keep checking back.
Diane
and that was on the 19th of March...my fault. I didn't realize that the thread went to two pages. I was difficult working on a tablet...please accept my apologies.....you've been extremely helpful to me during a very dark period when my MAC crashed, my dvd player sh*t the bed and I lost my car insurance and was told I need back surgery. YIKES ..... all I can say if you're willing to take the good in life you better be willing to take the bad in life. I'm happy my MAC is running I felt as if i was part of life again. Seriously, when you lose you MAC you feel as though you have lost somewhat a part of life because everything I needed was on my MAC including my banking and so many pictures of my parents who are no longer here. I know it sounds odd I'm sure some you can understand how much your MAC is connected to you.
LOVE YOU ALL
