Imac 20" white a1174 emc 2106 won't power on

Hello. My Imac 20" will not power on. I've been looking around for the method to check the power supply on this model, but not luck. It's the White a1174 emc 2106 Intel based. When pressing the power button, the fans would budge for a split second. I have reset the smc and swapped the ram. Also I removed the pram battery from the motherboard for a few minutes, tested with a meter, then replaced. At that point I plugged in the power, and a faint tick could be heard, with the fans budging to each tick. I really need to test the PS. Any help would be great. Thanks

ps. there are no leds on the logic board

Since you're doing the testing and trouble shooting yourself, go to iFixit: The free repair manual and look up the test points and take apart instructions for the machine. Likely needs a new power supply.
