anyone else a bit bummed out that their G4 won't run iMovie according to the system reqs. for iLife '08 on the Apple website? I doubt I'd use it but am a bit peeved that my approx 18 month old G4 PowerBook 1.67mhz Hi Res, Apples top of the range professional level laptop at the time, will not be able to run this.

Aww thats too bad :(

I picked up iLife '08 today, and, although iMovie's whole 'skimming' thing is awesome, it is majorly missing features. iMovie, I mean. The rest of the suite = :)

Besides, with Leopard's minimum requirement being a G4, perhaps now is the time to upgrade?

Thanks technologist...but that's not really my point - I already have iLife '06 and hence iMovie HD.

I'm not going to upgrade anytime soon as I mainly just surf, use IM, Adobe CS3, Logic etc. and my G4 is working fine for my needs. I just think that the whole suite should work on the last/fastest G4 laptop Apple made. Bummer.
