iChat Error Message

hello...Melissuhh here...new to this...very!! new
anyways i've had my imac g5 for almost 2 years now and my macbook for 8 months and have had no problems at all i love my MAC's
BUT!!!
a few months ago i noticed i could not use my ichat with my friends anymore on both products
i keep getting this error message

i have the detailed info. saved on my desktop didnt think i needed to add it on here unless some one needs to read all of that

i dont know how to fix it myself
dont know why all of a sudden it has popped up
i just want to be able to use it again
can anyone help me pleeeeease?

i had a similar error and called Apple and determined my router (which was hard wired connected to the iMac) was not compatible with my cousins iMac. I turned on the wireless connection and we were able to connect. give that a try.
