My workplace uses Google for mail and calendars, but I use Mail and iCal personally. Whenever I get either a new event invitation or update, the computer immediately goes to iCal regardless of what I was doing. I checked in System Preferences and iCal preferences, but nothing in either of those appears to be connected to this. It's very annoying while I'm working on things and would love to have this behavior cease. I'm on a mid-2014 MBP running 10.10.1.
