ibook clamshell problems

Ok so I have a ibook clamshell it has os x 10.4 on it and it ran fine untill about 2 weeks ago.
Well I tried to turn it on one day and it wouldn't it's not the screen or anything the only light that turns on is the one where the plug goes...
Anyone know why it might be doing this and how I can fix this without buying anything?

Also the light that does come on is green then turns orange what does that mean?

The green light turns orange? You mean the charger? It's normal. Mine does that too. But I don't know what that means. D'oh!

This might be a dumb suggestion, but I guess it's worth a try. Try adjusting the brightness of your iBook. It might be 0-brightness so it looks like it's off.

I'm sorry that's all I can say. I hope someone with more experience jumps in!
