i've searched and searched the entire worldwide web. my head hurts. it can't be this hard.

i can't wait for an iPhone, much less wait until i can afford it. my contract is ending with my carrier soon, and i need a phone that has the following:

1. qwerty or something like it
2. bluetooth
3. mac friendly, isync contacts, calendar, data, music, etc
4. i can actually use it as a phone

i don't care about the camera, the video and the music. if i can browse the web and have it sync with my ibook both with my address book, and files (if possible) i'm happy.

the carrier is of little importance. i would rather have something that i like the functionality of. most of the posts i have found are outdated, off-topic, or not helpful. i have heard inklings of sony ericsson and samsung being good. but i have NOTHING for all the work i have done. i realize it may just be wishful thinking.

is there a phone out there that loves my mac as much as i do? any input would be appreciated..

The Cingular 8125 fills 3 out of 4 of your requirements. The only one it doesn't fill is iSync compatibility. In order to get a Windows Mobile phone working on your Mac, you have to purchase Missing Sync. Though with this addon, you'll be able to do everything you want, like syncing your Address Book, iCal events, etc.

I've had my 8125 for a little over a year now, and I absolutely love the thing. If I were to ever lose it, I know for a fact that I would buy it again. :black:

Check out the Palm 700p... it does all you ask for.... and then some.

Using a little program called iPhony you can make the start screen look like mine here:
