I have an Aluminum Powerbook G4 1.5ghz processor with os x tiger. I cant remember what i did for this to happen but now I cant really do anything with the computer but turn it on and and browse through the os files and some programs, but I cant get on the internet, bluetooth does not show up, it has an x where the battery life would be, and when i put a cd/dvd in it doesn't bring it up in finder or show that it is there at all. Wondering what I could do to fix this problem...Im thinking new hard drive? Any help would be great...thanks

Of course it is just a Trojan and not a virus but then I ain't trying to sell it either.

Do as louishen has suggested start with AHT, and then boot from the install DVD and run Repair Disk from there, and then Repair Permissions. Keep us posted.
