Thats a good site which I've been on a few times, another one is http://thescambaiter.com/

A friend suggested it to me after I was telling him about the p-p-p-powerbook scam.

I reported at least two emails I received recently about soliciting money. It is always the same type of scam story.

I love the emails I receive about the loan approval they are waiting to act on that I never applied for.

Do people actually answer these emails?

Its like replying to an email from PAYPAL or other bank name that asks for your account information, you would have to have no common sense or street smarts...but I guess people do fall for them else they would not be circulating.

I respond to the Nigerian scams frequently, just for fun. It's just satisfying to waste the criminal's time, thinking that he's bagged a dummy.

I'm always happy when that stuff shows up because it tells me about all the money that I forgot I had stashed away in U.S. bank accounts.

There was an undercover report done here on tv by one of our great tv stations, about those scams in Nigeria (I believe). The whole tv crew went there to "close" the deal and it was all taped. But, what's unfortunate is that there is no law you can pin point on them, so majority of the time they get away. I love undercover reports about criminals of all kinds.

By the way, I have recently received a couple of those emails, too. I report them to the US government.
