Whenever i launch Boot camp assistance on my imac with mac os x snow leopard 10.6.8,
i get the following message about bootcamp:
::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
You must update your computer's Boot ROM firmware before using this setup assistant.
- I have already tried to update my NVRAM by resetting it by using this method:
1.turn of the system.
2. unplug all devices.
3. take out the power cable and wait for 15 seconds.
4. plug the main power back in.
5. wait for 5 seconds more.
6 plug all devices back in.
7. turn on the computer,
8. NVRAM reset completed!!!
That is not working.... cant i use another software to reset the NVRAM?
as far as i know that only G4 use PRAM not NVRAM . I have intel based mac so i am using the NVRAM.
LOL. Please assist me!!!
