Ugh! SWMBO got a new hip a few years ago. Next week will definitely NOT be better, pain-wise, but better will come along soon. Just be faithful to follow the physical therapy afterwards and the recovery will be much shorter.

Had the right knee replaced fifteen years ago and was the best day's work in many a year.

All I'm saying is that NEXT WEEK may be a bit painful from the surgery. Long term, say 3-4 weeks, no problem at all. If you had one done already, you know what I mean. No scaremongering, just being real.

Hey Harry:

At least it's Summer where you are. Warm weather is better when recovering from a knee replacement. I would hate to have to go through recovery in the middle of Winter. Stay safe and let us know how you're getting along.

Yep Charlie right knee done October 2006. Surgeon tells me this time around will be much simpler and quite pain free (within reason). Don't even have to take crutches to hospital ~ he tells me my walking stick will be ample. Done Wednesday home Friday.

Remember me next Wednesday (Tuesday 8pm your time).
