I have several apps installed in my iPad, among them Adobe Reader and AVPlayerHD. With the previous version of iTunes it was easy to access these apps and upload content directly to the apps in order to see this content on the iPad (3rd generation).

Now I can't even find a way to access the apps via iTunes!

I see the Apps item on the menu on the left side column. Click there and I see a list of apps on the right side. Click on Adobe Reader icon for example and nothing happens. In the previous version of iTunes I could see the icon, click on it and there would be an area where I could either drag content to it or click a button to upload it. Now that functionality seems to be hidden or has disappeared.*

I’m connecting the iPad through my iMac 27”, 3.4GHz Intel Core i7, 8GB. OS 10.10, Yosemite.

Thanks in advance.

In iTunes 12 (just noticed you did say that in your header) when I select my iPad, then the Apps icon in the left column, as you say, the right side shows all the apps. Below that display is section that shows the application with which File sharing is possible. When I click on one of those, a big box to the right opens showing the files already on the iPad and shared with that app. Below that box is an "Add" button from which I can pick additional files to share with that app. If you are using ver 12, try that.
