I HATE axe body spray!

Hey Murlyn, haven't seen you around in a while! Back on topic, there is one scent that seems to be universally liked, and that would be Kilo, it's pretty good, but it's kinda like a quick pick me up when I'm really sweaty in the summer. Cologne is well cologne, it is an attractive scent to spray in discrete places to give yourself your own unique yummy scent, whist Axe is basically a Deodorant in a spray form, it's very obvious that you are wearing it, is very easy to OD on, and isn't one of those discrete scents to attract someone to you. Just my 2cents, axe is a good pick me up after gym or something to cover up the smell of all that sweat which cologne cannot, but than again Axe is technically a deodorant

Hmm.. the little Axe spray that I was given.. by a woman Says cologne spray on it, so weird.. And all the women that have given me Axe stuff.. so far have all given me Phoenix, which is my favorite of the Axe stuff also thankfully. My personal favorite for cologne though is Drakkar and Obsession though, but I just couldn't let it Axe go down without a little fight, since myself and the ladies in my life like at least the one scent

And thanks Vindicat3d.. I've been lurking, and cleaning up forums as needed, and all that fun stuff.

The axe stuff seems to dry out my skin and make me itch. I used to use their deodorant because it is pretty cheap here and I had to stop because it made me itch so bad.

I personally cant stand it when people have a force field of body spray on. It just doesnt smell good to me. I'd much rather use REAL cologne, so much more subtle. lol i cant stand it when i can smell someones body spray from a mile away.

Murlyn, I was just about to reply to your first comment saying that the only one I like is Phoenix! I don't wear axe often at all, I'm in the same boat as Kash, just if I don't get time to take a shower and don't want to smell crappy. I don't like the smell of any of the others though.

I also can't stand the commercials, not because it's degrading to women, but it's just they are extremely annoying.

I dated a guy who used Axe before I met my husband. Every time I got in his car ( which is where I think he bathed in it before he came to my door) I would choke and cough ( I know real sexy on a date). I eventually had to cut if off with this guy because of it. Glad I did too because we decided to remain friends and he came to me with a computer issue a couple weeks after and when was fixing it I found chat transcripts of him talking to his future wife waiting for him in India.

What was funny about our relationship is I think he was using me for my IBM skills and I was using him for his apple employee discount. ha ha ha . I have a nice 5th gen video ipod for a fraction of the price.

*rofl* ouch.. and yeah bathing in any cologne, no matter what it is.. is just not a good idea at all!

I agree though, the commercials are bad, same with so many other commercials, trying to sell their product with sex. Guys and now gals have a hard enough time trying to stay away from harmful things, that these commercials, advertisements, billboards, etc make it much harder.. and they wonder why so many women and men are addicted to pornography.. it's insane. Hmm.. I wonder if it's because of all the half naked women and men they put... umm.. everywhere? *smirk*

I dislike the stuff. I remember back in the day in middle school the locker rooms was permeating with the stuff. But i did try it one time, and absolutely hated it so i switched back to classic deodorants.
