How can a Windows computer on your WiFi put viruses on your mac?
Re-reading over the thread, I'm thinking that the two things are not even related.
Like the "virus" came via the FPT remote file transfer and the PC share is showing care of Bonjour or whatever name or the OS X just letting them know there's a Windows PC available to share with if they want.
