i dont want isight

i need to record a video and i have a usb camera(not isight) connected to my macbook, but as you may now, the macbook has a built in isight wich i cant use on my vid because i cant move it. is there a way to disable some how the isight or select my usb camera as predeterminated(im recording with i record)?
