how to see firewire connected mac in terminal

I have my MB pro connected to my iMac via firewire.

I forgot how to do this, but I know there's a way to 'see' either machine via the terminal app. I can't see either one right now; can someone tell me how to do this?

Is it connected in Target mode? Try looking in /Volumes.
