I have bought CNC machine and its software compatible with macOS and Windows.
I can easily find the COM port number in windows because I used to do that when I configure CISCO switches.

I need your help to know how to check the COM port number in macOS laptop ( High Sierra)

As far as I know you don't have a COM port on your Mac. You will need a USB<->Serial adapter cable to connect the hardware to the Mac.

You are right. The cable that I am using is USB ->Serial.
I am wondering if there is an option in macOS like in Windows to see which COM port number.

Open a Terminal window and do the following
Code:
ls -l /dev/tty.*

Your USB Serial cable might be named tty.USBSERIAL or something else. Show us the list and we can see what the virtual device is called to access the hardware.
