How to Backup Voice Memo's on iTunes

I have an iPhone 4s and have recently upgraded to the new operating system on the phone. Afterwards I noticed that most of my voice memo's disappeared on the phone. Luckily, it appears that my itunes on my iMac contains all the voice memo's.

What I want to do is backup all the voice memo's in my iTunes account. If anyone could give me directions or a link on how to do it I would greatly appreciate it.

If your voice memos are in your iTunes, then they will get backed up when you do a normal backup.
I prefer using CCC (Carbon Copy Cloner) to make a bootable clone, but it can also be used to backup individual folders, i.e.: where your memos reside.

Or an I misunderstanding something … ???

Is this checked in iTunes? Are you manually managing or no?
