Cycles.... 424!

Looks like I have a bum battery. But of course I can't replace it myself.

Too many...
My battery has been getting neglected. I used to cycle it routinely, and it was healthy as a new battery, but this was due to me being in "sync" with the charging times of my macbook pro. From my last 2 semesters, everything is out of whack. I charge it at completely random times, sometimes leaving it on the charger for long times. Ever since this change started, my batteries health has dropped a lot.

I'm now at 33 months, 955 cycles, and fluctuating between 77%-81% battery health...which is still the best battery I've ever had on any computer, or even electronic device for that matter. My battery held 4800mAh when new, now it's just at 3800. :(

Replying to myself, for some reason. So 6 days later and the battery capacity has dropped to 2675/6900 (38%). It was 51% on the 11th. Earlier this afternoon it was 44%. All of this in three (3) load cycles ... I'm now at 427 cycles.

At this rate I'm sinking so fast that I don't think I'll be able to reach the Apple Store in time....heh.

Glad I got AppleCare.

My iBook has the original battery from 2004 with 110 cycles and it still lasts 2-3 hours. my 2010 macbook pro 13 inch has 206 cycles and still gets the estimated time. My iphone 4 battery is going bad after 9 months. I charge it 2 full times a day so that is probably why, i am on the thing all of the time.
